ok,
so I have had an ipod touch here for about 5 months, (not mine) and it needed a new LCD and a new glass/digitizer, so I ordered one and after waiting almost 1 month and a half it came, and after the full installation I found out that the backlight is faulty, all the connections are tight and if the connection was bad, then the LCD wouldn't show anything either.
BUT if you put the LCD into the light you can see everything, but its really dim
I even checked all the settings to make sure the backlight WAS on

So?  Switch the backlights on the screen and go next  :whoosh:
