Title: 2 Quick Little Questions
Post by: TheZap on February 27, 2009, 12:42:09 PM
Alright I, so I have a blackberry sitting there full of scratches and just plain old ugly, the LEDs are wering out, anyway I can open it up and paint it, and I need a new keypad,
Alright, So I am having a party really far ahead and I am making some early ( really early ) plans, I want to make something with sound reactive LEDs and Speakers, many speakers, Is it possible to make something like this and able to be plugged into any MP3 player,
Like is it possible to use wire from a pair of head phones or something like that, and a transistor?

im tring to make a wire full of sound reactive LEDs and speakers, that can easily connect to any mp3 player, so i can hung up the wire on the wall and i have a sort of light show thingy going on XP, the party would be at night so i dont care if the wires are expossed, and will i need another power source if i were to do this?

You would probably need another powersource. The power of the powersource would depend on what type of leds, forward voltages, amount, etc.
