Well I just tried to see if my PSP would read a Kingston 32GB SDHC card using my PF CR-3100 and it doesn't work. The memory stick read LED would just blink and blink and just doesn't recognize the card.
Card works fine on my laptop.

does ur psp have CFW?
-
CR-3100 has a 32 gig cap, so it might have a cap of 16 gigs on each card slot.
-
Yeah its running CFW m33-6. When I insert just one 32GB card in slot 1, the psp just keeps reading and reading the card.
So yeah I guess there is a 32GB cap on the CR-3100.
-
There is a definitive 32 gig cap on the whole thing, it's just that it seems to have a single card cap less than 32 gigs.
-
interesting, Are you sure that it's not the photofast not working with the phat instead of the card?
-
Yeah i'm pretty sure the CR-3100 is working fine, since I have a small 128MB SD card that I popped in on slot 1 and it picks it up right away. Also when the psp is completely turned off and I turn it on, with that big card in, it won't even boot up, seems to be trying to read the card.
I have 2 32GB cards so I tried different combinations and no go. Also tried formatting them on the computer first. They might be fake cards, but I would think even fake ones should be recognize on the PhotoFast, since they easily recognize 32GB cards on the laptop fine.
Oh well, time to return them and get regular 16GB ones.
-
Dang, where can you even buy a 32gig card. They must cost a small fortune.
-
Either the CR-3100 only supports up to 16GB per slot of you need to format the memory sticks

I have 32 gigs (2x 16gbs) and my psp wouldnt boot up because the 2 16 gigs werent formatted, so i left the photofast cr-3100 unplugged turned it on and put the two cards in and after that i formatted the sticks and never had that problem again. So i guess you can try that if that doesnt work then the cr-3100 probably doesnt support 64gbs =/
-
Yeah make sure you format them cards :/ If it still dont work, boy im happy i didnt want my money on them cards :D
-
u MUST format the sticks
