i'm doing my led mod then when i turning it on it wont go through...
the green lights just light in a flash then it turns off..
i also scratch the trace of my pobo coz im planning to do face button mod..
but i did not finish it coz im too lazy scratching the trace
i also did the usb charge mod.
so why is my pobo acting up..what might be the cause???
i don't think there is shorting coz i disconnect all the wires to
make sure that there is no short.
-
usually when it flashes on for half a second then turns off that DOES mean there is a short somewhere. Hopefully nothing is screwed, try starting from scratch.
-
make sure you havent got odd bits of solder where there shouldnt be as this could be causing your short..
-
i remove all the bits and have my mobo and pobo then connect on my charger
but nothing happens..it just flashes...
-
Maybe a fried mobo? Same thing happened to me once and the mobo is now dead.
-
fried?but i made it turn on until i'm putting my face plate back..

Its a short then

I hate it when that happens.
Route the wires where something already is (Mobo?) so it wont be crushed and shorted by the lcd frame

Good to see the motherboard isnt broken (I hate when mine breaks, they cost quite a bit)
When I put LEDs in the D-Pad i usually just drill a hole when you already have a 'bump', and hotglue it there (I use clear buttons)
