Title: UMD Ribbon extension ?

Would it be possible to extend the UMD ribbon ? does such a cable exist ? lol
I want to make my UMD drive external , dont want to lose the functionality but also want to put in a CR-3100
Help me out !

Yeah. You'll need to be really good at soldering though.
