Bridge the Wifi as if you were going to use LEDs, then use the on point as your ground.

Sorry no pics

Yes I do.

read L0rdNi0c's LED sound mod tutorial to get an idea of what you need to do.

depending on which rumble method you are wanting to use. There is the R trig ativated rumble, you can use wifi for that. The Ic music rumble method (lots of components) can use wifi. And my transistor sound rumbe, can't atm use wifi switch.

Anything that uses the psp common ground (most things) can be switched through wifi or hold.

You can also buy a replacement power switch and cut a hole in the trim and if you can figure out how to ire it up then you can do it.

you would have to wire the hold function as the auctual power is momentary. Much better to get a wifi switch of a trashed mobo.

Or buy a dip switch and cut a hole in the trim.

i already have the 5v relay switch the lm386 and the vibrator and i'd like to

know how to do this using a wifi switch...could this be done??

can someone show a diagram of how to do this...thanks..

I guess just use the wifi/hold for all the grounds.

If you are gonna be using ghost_death transistor method u can probably use a 5V relay to connect and disconnect the 5V going to the rumbler.  The wifi switch can be used to trigger the relays coil and feed the 5V to the rumbler.

and can you tell me where to connect the wires to my reed relay..

thanks guys...

Well that looks like it would work since its the same circuit as this one
(https://www.acidmods.com/tutorials/rumble/image1.jpg)

As far as which pins on your relay, it looks like the 2 bigger contacts are your coil and the two smaller ones are the switch contacts.

I would also attach the ground of the lm386 to the wifi so that way it will turn off too.

But yeah look at the packaging or the relay itself and there should be somthing that tells which pins do what. You could also look up it's datasheet online to see a diagram of how to hook it up.

which of the two of the rumbler connection leads to positive and the ground

is the top rumbler connection is the positive?

I believe to have the hookups on the reed relay wrong. The - lead of the rumble motor should go to the ground . Therefore there should only be one pin on the relay that goes to the motor.
One of the pins of the relay needs to be a ground to allow the relay to function.

Yeah I think my diagram is wrong described.  Polarity does not matter on the relay.

I'm not sure how well that relay would hold up though, since it will be openinig and closing its contacts hundreds of times.  Anyone run this setup already?

I'm sure it will hold up fine. I've used relays before, but not in a psp. The only thing about most relays is that they make a click when they open and close. I would hope that the reed relay doesn't make a click or that would be really annoying.

It dosent appera that any are needed. The original diagram dosent have them either.

hmm, thats weird. Lm386 should handle it I guess?
