Title: 360 controller mods?

this spring i plan on buying some things for modding my 360 controller.i tried the rapid fire mod already and it DIDNT WORK.now i must push the button and pull the trigger to fire any weapon in the game(cod4).can you tell me whats wrong with it?and how can i make all the buttons light up?also,whats the special tool used for the screws?i cannot find it anywhere.

if ur screws are the ones i think ur talking about its a 6 star with a nipple.
i dont know the exact name of the tool but the only shops i know that have the screwbits u want for it is lowes and Autozone
As for the light up buttons u need to install leds under the buttons

I cabt tell if thats the pack u need for it from this picture i need to see a above/forward screw pic

Sounds like you did the cheap no "pic" mod.....I would unhook it and just wait till you get the pic to mod it. Autozone sells a fold up set of them. They are called security torx or tamper proff torx. The ones you got from lowes I believe only go down to a t10 You need a t9 some people say t8 You really can use a t8 or t9. The set from autozone is made by titan and has t6 t7 t8 t9 t10 t15 t20 t25 t30.

My dad has all the screwdrivers at his work, but they werent long enough for the bottom ones on the controller, so he just used a small screwdriver... Worked fine..
