Title: very strange problem (LCD screen)

idk why but theres a perfect black line on the left of the screen

 backlight works and it shows the picture i tested it with four other psps and its the same thing any ideas what might be wrong? if not should i just replace it?

Probably part of the ribbon cable is broken.. Just buy a new one.

Yeah. Even the smallest nick to the ribbon can cause problems.
