Post by: Scudreloaded on March 21, 2009, 09:41:27 PM
One of my friends showed me the pic below. and i was wondering is it possible to do something with this for the UMD possibly?i dunno if its practical tho really since the UMD door isnt a big complaint from me

at the bottom of that page he is playing a psone portable and theres no real cover to speak of for the disc.

you don't need to do all that just put CFW on your psp and you can run just about any psone game on it

yeah, all you need is the poploader plug-in for CFW to run PS1 games on a psp.

sorry, i understand now. i'm sure it might be possibal. you would need to find a way of moving the umd drive to a position which will show off the disk and strip down a umd. could be hard tho. umd's are held in my a magnet, it might fall off when in use.

well you can cut out most of the und cage so that this disk isnt covered as much and replace the black door with a clear on or if you can find a way to rig the door shut just leave the umd cover off

Well if you cut up a umd cage enough, glue it "closed" and remove the umd door, it should work.
