Solder a wire to one side. then the other side on the bottom... not tat hard just make sure you can solder ok and don't hold the iron to the LED for more then 2 seconds, also you may want a magnifying glass. They are quite small.

i the U.S., I ordered from www.phenoptix.co.uk/ (http://) on a Friday, and it arrived on that monday. Great service, and high quality. Also, make sure that it's not a short in your wire that's causing them to turn off.

I find this soldering guide good, from the well-known Arioch76. By the way, it's in French, but pretty easy to understand:
