I'm sure if you had A LOT of time to find out what parts of the case contradict and sand all the little parts down etc. sure it would be possible, but what's the point? just go buy a 3000 or 2000. They really don't LOOK that different that it is worth all that work.

no it says 3k doesnt it ?
if you need bus wires for the 2k, you need to get the 2k versions not the 3k
