i have mplab v8.15 and i would like to know of some programmers to program the 12f683 to buy i was thnking pik it 2 let me know what you guys think?

if all you want is to program a 12f683 using mplab and winpic...build this one all parts you can get at radio shack for $20 https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=22283.0 (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=22283.0) you can thank gameroms for the find. I personally have built and use the serial type(first one) I cannot vouch for the usb powered one though.

okay so i was thinking of buying this programmer for mplab what do you guys think will it work? to program the 12f683 chips?

yes. It states it will it is a picit 2 clone..it should work fine.
