meh, ive had a bad experience with Dell's Alienware's. I suggest getting a XPS laptop, much more durable and reliable.

ive never had an alienware, but my friends dad has one and it is very very nice. it is like 5 years old and still is great and working very fast.

Laptops are outdated within months, if you're looking for gaming get a desktop so you can upgrade it over time. It also depends on what you want to play on it, because my old 8600gt will still power 2 monitors while playing games like TF2 and COD4

yup laptops are not the best option for gaming if you want to play the latest games at highest rez. Maybe those speciality laptops like clevo which offer those mxm ? Type graphic cards which can be upgraded. In any case a desktop would be ur best bet

well, i have an alieware.
its nice but if your going to drag it to school and stuff like that and your small, dont. its pretty havy and not really build to be moved a lot.
the hp touchsmart is build to be dragged around a lot same like the eepc.
my new laptop would or be a verry big and expensive HP laptop. because i find them the only ones build good and a verry good preformance:)

I used to drag my desktop to my dads, bu then he got one to use

Honesty Your not buying the same alienware Laptops.. Its No longer alienware. Its Owned by dell Which they Cut out alot of there Products. But whats the reason you want it. Surf the Net? play some games? Video editing?. When your away from you desktop... If your not planing on upgrading the Laptop Get it. and don't get x64 if your not gonna upgrade it..
