So i was just wonderin that as i'm goin to college in a bit should i get a netbook or a pandora ? They both cost the same, pandora has much greater battery life and is much cooler too :tup: and i can bear with the 4.3inch screen for some basic C++ coding and taking down some notes coz i've been taking notes and reading ebooks on my 2.4inch screen N82 :#1: ...... whereas a netbook is like a conventional notebook shrunk to a smaller size :) so what do u guys say ....... what should i go for ? I'll be getting it next month or so........

problem is the :censored:ty shipping charges...... The otherday at an auction here, i was looking to buy a gamecube disk and the shipping on that was 45$ so think what it'll be for a laptop :D

Tried buying a gamecube disc here on AM, the disk was 10$ and shipping 40$ :S so i dunno.......

yeah that's a serious problem in that area, shipping charges, i thought it was bad to get shipped here in australia, but you guys get robbed blind :( same with egypt
A notebook would be a safer approach, granted the pandora will soon be able to run harddrives, but until then its the traditional GP2X storage method of SDHC. It's a great device with great features and the linux environment would be great for coding but until it consolidates itself, and is actually finished a notebook is SAFER, not necessarily better, but when toying with your educational future, safer.

About two months....

It wont be my primary computer.... Also here we primarily use Pen and Paper for college work. And also, i won't be able to afford a car so might have to travel in something like this :-(

So i believe having something really portable will be beneficial.

2 months,.. couldnt you sell some stuff, i mean $100 isnt that much to get in 2 months!

Ha Ha... 100$ is rs 5000 !!! My monthly allowance is Rs 500 :D and i have nothing to sell.....
