What is Time Machine? sorry if it's a noob question but I don't/never had CFW can't afford a pandora YET, still saving money for modding supplies like flux, paint, LEDs, resistors, transistors, vibration motors, cases, wire, faders,

Elite, you can make a pandora with an OEM battery -.-... and what the hell, you actually play UMDs? Time Machine emulates firmware without flashing it. It was intended for developers of homebrew to test their software, but it can also be used to atleast let your psp turn on your flash is ruined beyond repair.

No I was talking to Elite, cause he said he never messed with CFW meaning he has to use UMDs. But no, TimeMachine will not allow you to run backups, no matter what you do.

Well there isn't a slim tut on here and if I use a bad tut then I risk screwing a OEM battery then more $$ out the window.

Elite, the slim battery mod is so easy. All you have to do is cut 1 trace on the pcb. They flash your psp. Then use a mechanical pencil to reconnect the trace and you are set. It worked for me in less than 10 min I was back up and running. A pandora battery is about 5 to 10 dollars and a complete was of money. Since you are so handy with the soldering iron you could even put a switch in there to make it pandora and normal. Best program I found for making the memory stick is rains memory stick maker. I hope this helps. BTW you only need a 64meg mms. But you can use any mms you have available.
