Title: Easter Eggsploit by Matiaz! Hello world on Firmware 5.03!
Post by: DubbleDutch on April 15, 2009, 09:42:29 AM
This works on all psp's from firmware 4.02 till 5.03!

Another exploit via tiff!

Easter Eggsploit running on PSP3K (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8JF-svKxPE#lq-lq2-hq)

video here which is showing it is running on a psp3000 :)
Matiaz said that it wasnt able of running on a psp3k, which it is! there are 2 images in the download
put all the files you downloaded in the root of your memory stick,
then copy (slim or phat .tiff to the PSP/PHOTO map) choose Phat for Phat psp's and Slim for Slim & 3k's
also copy some real photo's to the map PSP/PHOTO, 10 would be enough

then go to your psp, browse to PHOTO and slowly scroll down, and watch it happen :) (just like on the vid)

Sweet, it does work on the 3000.

Now if someone could code something like a homebrew launcher.

I know there's more involved, but it would make it so much nicer.

BTW, shouldn't this be posted in the 3000 thread?

ya it does work on the 3000 but doesnt do anything much yet. But who knows , it may lead to custom firmware just like in the early days.....

[okay! .. just have to point out, homebrew works on psp-3004 at 5.03 OFW, and how to do this properly without too much crashing and work follow this small tutorial!]

First - Set to default setting
Second - Format memory stick
Then - copy h.bin to root and to be sure copy it to MS_ROOT ( if You have MP_ROOT change it to MS_ROOT)

LOOK, NOW, after you've copied h.bin to the MS_ROOT, copy it to the ROOT directory, when you first open your PSP Memory Stick Drive on E:/P: watever.

(Yeah, you've just copied h.bin 2 times, whatever?)

Then - Just copy ChickHEN folder to whatever PHOTO or PICTURE folder you have after formatting

Then - disconnect go to photo quickly slide to slim.tiff

Tataaaaa - 100% works

btw this small tutorial was found on M for Mature forum (thanks to the maker of that post)

>>ALSO.. if you dont want to go through the work formating and stuff again then when turning off put it in standby mode instead of shutting down fully, you can always put the AC/DC adapter in so its always fully charged<<
