Title: why wont my usb work on my psp? PLEASE HELP.

i went to hook up my psp phat to my pc and in the lower left corner of the pc a little window poped up it said   (the usb device attached to this computer has malfuntioned and windows does not recognize it) I hooked it up usb 5 min before and it worked and now is does'nt why. Oh when i hook up my slim that works but not the phat HELP

Just try restarting the computer and the psp. Also try taking the memory stick out and reinserting it.

go to your device manager in My Computer...... u'll see a cross sign on one of the items there , right click and select uninstall , now when the driver has been uninstalled reconnect ur psp... it should work

nothin in device manager every things good like i said i can hook up my slim usb and every thing pops up.I tryed to restart my psp phat my computer i even took out the mem stick out of the slim no go.I did the usb mod the one were i can charge my phat with the usb it been working great but maybe something fawled up i dont know  :angry: :boxed:

just use the memory stick directly......... Computers :censored: up some times, my pc stopped detecting my iPod and eventually i had to reformat the PC.

Well if you did the USB charge mod, the wire may be touching the pin next to the one that it's supposed to. I'd check and see that it's only touching the one correct pin.
