NO!
I certainly would not recommend that "compatible with Dremel" multi-tool set. It's not even related to Dremel. I got one a few months ago, and now I wish I had got a real Dremel. That one can barely drill anything, and it also vibrates like mad, so you can't control it.
Really, a Dremel is worth it, because those things aren't as good as they seem.

I have one similar to that and I have issues with it all the time. Mine has a speed control, the extension, etc, and while the issues that I've had with it are minor, I don't think it will last me a good long time.
If you want a lasting piece of hardware, an actual Dremel is what you need.

I got the Dremel 300 for 80CAD with like 40 attachments, and I was REALLY impressed with it the first time I've used it. Now I can't wait to use it to cut my UMD door. Basically, any dremel will work, but if you want variable speed, you'll have to add your own with a light dimmer if it doesn't already have one. Some good ones with built in variable speed are the Dremel 300, and the variable speed multi-pro one. Both are relatively cheap.

:censored: i already bought it. no replied fast enough lol. its good. we will have to see. i hope its not that bad. I can cancel it so i need a quick reply. Is there any better ones? Names or links would be great. thank you.
what should i put so the sound waves go through the umd door? any ideas or any thing people have been using?

there is only really one name you need to know, and that's dremel. They last, and it powerful enough to get the job done. My dad has had his for several years and it still works perfectly. Make sure you put the attachments back in the case when your done though because they tend to come up missing, then you have to improvise.
Also I find it easier to just use the adjustable head that it came with instead of constantly changing the collets all the time. If you have a dremel you should know that that means.
-
Yeah, you only really want to get a brand name dremel... My dad got a REALLY good variable speed for buffing his gun stocks, and I get to use it on my psp :D ... I love my dad's power tools...
