Title: Transistor method on a phat

Has anyone done my SR transistor method on a phat PSP? If so how cus I wired mine same as my slim but the LEDS are on with the psp no sound then when sound kicks in they turn off and don't come back on.

I used a small 120uf capacitor for my mod with the transistor method and it work fine,apart from it was the same wiring as your method so iono :dntknw:

Where did you add the capacitor in the circuit? As in was it on the power line going to the LEDS or somewhere else?

Did you use the transistor from radioshack? Did you wire it as in my diagram?

I added the capacitor just after the speaker,it helps to give a better pulsing effect, to the lower frequencys,you could even use the capacitors to make a VU metre!
