Title: PSP 1000/2000 joystick on PSONE/two/????
Post by: blaze3927 on April 28, 2009, 11:08:33 PM
HI
I know that you can use a psone/two joystick on a PSP, but to do it the other way round, anyone know if it's possible or maybe some pics/diagrams if someone managed to do it,
the purpose of it would be for use in portable n64/psone/pstwo's  as a space saver, and it would make them look better.
thanks in advance

...or an alternative joystick that is small and doesn't suffer like the PSP stick does with not centering properly...

If you have a psp 1000 buy a taller analog nub and take the rubbery part off the ps2 analog stick and put it over the psp analog nub. If the analog nub is to short the rubber on the ps2 analog stick will not move as smoothly.

What do you mean by "after market ones"?

The PSP slim joysticks don't center properly (in my experience), however someone used the PSP phat joystick and it did work ok.
