Wow, I never really realized there was a board to introduce myself until just like 10 minutes ago  (if you didn't know, I've been here for probably 8 or so months, give or take...) Maybe should I introduce myself:
I found this site because I'm OCD, and wanted to get rid of fingerprints on my  glossy black psp. So, I wanted to do a case swap... that turned out... messy, to say the least
I'm 14 years old
I'm (duh) a guy
My name is Brendan (NOT BRANDEN)
My hair has a swoosh thing on the front
The town I live in is *most likely*, the brand name of your toilet (do YOU think you can guess the name????)
I live in northern WI (STILL IN THE 40 DEGREE TEMP)
I play drums, mod psp's, paintball, hunt, shoot, play soccer, and mess with townies (don't ask) for fun :D
I have *yet* to finish a mod, because it's still too cold for spraypaint
I have tourettes syndrome! (google it if you don't know what it is)
I like Parentheses (aren't these great for random comments???)
That is my life, in a bushel basket :hifive:
-
well its about time to see my neck of the woods lol
the swosh thing... don't you mean a bang?
about the toilet thing i went to have a look is it Gerber?
oh and i almost forgot, WELCOME!

No, the swoosh thing is like a cowlick-thing, i have a pic of it somewhere on the reveal yourself thread, and no, the toilet thing isn't gerber, it's a different famous toilet company... but really... How did I miss this???
-
elloo, not sure how you can miss this LOL.
you play drums.. so do i =D what kit do you have??
i have pearl export.. colour=chrome!!
Premier olympic (vintage).. colour=matte black
and a trixon.. something lol forgot what its called...colour=sparkley blue

I really have NO idea how, I'm just kinda ignorant like that, the only reason I ever looked at the first section of topics was for S&C, until quite recently...

Pearl vision VX, wine red with black hardware, just a 5 piece, a pearl powershifter double bass (I liek metal), and Zildjian ZXT cymbals, 20" ride, 18" crash, 16" crash, and 14" hi-hat set :D
total cost for everything: $1700... worth every penny...
-
i like metal too =D but i got proper double bass.. single pedal on both. zildjian pitch black cymbals for my pearl export. and both A customs and Z customs for my premier and trixon :P
just wondering have i made a intro yourself topic??

i only look at general, webart, music and S&C really.. occasionaly intro yourself.

:dribble: I'm uber jealous of your A customs now... But I tried the pitch blacks at Guitar center, and they sounded almost exactly the same as my ZXT's, only they were black and $200 more expensive... But I'm probably going to ask for some vintage zildjian cymbals for my birthday, maybe just a crash or ride. My 1 complaint with the ZXT's is the fact that they sound so tinny, it's kinda weird, but you get used to it... my teacher has vintage K customs, and they make me drooool...
-
yeah the pitch blacks do sound like my a customs.. but hey they look AWESOME!!!!!!
have you tried moongel on you cymbals.. it may make the tinnyness less notisable??.. i cant spell at all today =(
and yeah K's are good, hoping to get k custom hats soon =D!!! cant wait!
what is the name of you town then?

Yeah, I tried the moongels, and it helps some, but they make my drums sound so good I can't take em off XD... As far as the town, it's KOHLER :D
-
ive never heard of Kohler... i guess its because im from the U.K
Use o'Rings for your snare and toms then moongel on cymbals and hopefully your tinny cymbals will sound less tinny =D..

just make sure you order the right size (them ones are 14")

Actually, I had a set of those, but I returned them because the moongels make the drums sound better in large places, like at school or whatnot

This thread hasnt gone off topic at all..

Whitetail all the way :D . Idk about trout, I do a little fishing, but it's mainly bass or panfish.

whitetail FTW! hahaha got a little seven pointer this year in rifle season, nice rack but only 135lbs dressed out. the deer tend to be a bit smaller in VT.
What no trout? you havent lived till you caught and eaten a nice steelhead.
funniest thing is I thought you were a brit for some reason, til I read this thread. haha
happy modding
