Hello everyone, i am new around here, just a quick question.
I am looking to install a internal bluetooth transmitter, could i buy something like this and strip it down then install it into the slim?
Bluetooth click me (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SONY-BLUETOOTH-AUDIO-TRANSMITTER-FOR-iPOD-iPHONE-NEW_W0QQitemZ250409005637QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Mobile_Home_Phones_Bluetooth_Acc_ET?hash=item250409005637&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1308|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50)
Any help is much appreciated.

there is already a tutorial for it somewhere around here
here u go , dunno if that link will work (coz i didnt check , low bandwidth) but
https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=27166.0 (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=27166.0)
will allow you to have wireless audio but u will lose the umd drive.

ok sorry i just checked the link and its basically a 3.5mm to bluetooth connector thing. So size constraints aside you definitely could make it internal but would probably lose the umd drive coz its pretty big. once more, i cant confirm this coz i cant judge the size of that thing by the pic coz if its too big then u cant make it internal
and yeah i just noticed that its ur first post so WELCOME :D

Thanks for the reply, UMD drive is not a problem as it has already gone ready for this project. I am not too sure whether to buy what i included in the link or choose something different.
Any suggestions as to what bluetooth module to go for?

Awesome. I think BT is the only reasonable reason to get the upcoming Go. But music is probably the only thing I'd use BT for so no prob.

actually the bluetooth is used for more then just music on the go. Sony said it can be used to hook up a bluetooth ps3 controller as well and with any luck sending data too.

Lol there's an idea... maybe someone who know home to program those Homebrew Apps will conger up a app that will allow a Wii controller without any sort of hardware modifications what so ever. I'm sure if Sony can do it for the PS3 controller (sixaxies too? maybe..) then one of those genius programmers can do it for a Wiimote.

Except the wiimote doesn't communicate with bluetooth...

the wiimote is bluetooth and communicates thru bluetooth.

Data is bluetooth. But the pointer needs IR LED's to work.
