Title: im having problems with ta086 charging

i think the mobo got jolted when i pluged it in. it still runs off battery but the usb power mod doesnt work, the plug doesnt work. everything works but the charge. i soldered over the fuse i think is the one (upper right hand of mobo when lcd is off) i dont know what to do other than use my other psp to charge batteries. if anyone has any ideas please post or PM me. thanks modders. :beg:

bump. come on guys and gals. if i cant figure this out i will have a phat for sale with everything and a charging problem. if you have a external charger than its all good. i just want to get it working so i can mod it. i will be posting pics and video of my new light mod soon i hope. :beg: :beg:

    I did also experience this problem myself with a psp phat that I purchased on ebay. The symptoms was exactly the same as yours. The problem was the fuse that you highlighted in your picture. That fuse for some reason or another burn itself out. The way I fixed it was to bridge the fuse by slightly soldering both ends together. Give that a try and see how that works. Good Luck.
