Hey guys I really need anyone who can help with soldering to a ribbon cable. Can anyone here can solder that small?
P.S. Alien can you unblock PMS from me? I'd like to talk to you bout some electronics things, not a job. I really need :help:
Just wondering Jumbo can you? I've my best already, but I just have a feeling I know that they are touching which will obviously mess everything up. I can tin the contacts without bridging them but I cant get the wires to stay on and not touch even with flux.

So you could soldering some wires to a UMD drive cables if I sent a drive to you?
Do you have an estimate?

Well I think the drive has 2 connectors... 8 and 18 by my count...

And you just want a wire hanging off eatch one? May I ask what this is for? what do you plan to do with the other end of the wire if you cant solder to a .5 pitch than you wont be able to connect the wires back to the mobo.....

I can solder to the other side but it's cause the ribbon cable is 100% flat that makes it hard.
