Title: I need help fixing my friends psp...
Post by: corsairdude on May 12, 2009, 05:10:54 PM
ok, so my friend got a used psp phat from G.S. and the speakers worked for a wile but then all the sudden they quit?? so i opened it up and took a look-see and i couldn't find the speaker/sound fuse. does anyone know where it is on the motherboard?
he somehow broke the headphone jack right out... but i am pretty sure that it's the blown fuse :help:

thanks...

What do you mean "broke the headphone jack out"? Like ripped it out physically, or it won't make sound?

for the speakers, have you tried new ones? Made sure the PSP's not muted, etc...?

Wow how many times did he lose that game before that happened? LOL

I'd suggest that you have your friend buy himself a new wifi board. Just make sure that you get one that matches the motherboard. < that part is important or the sound will not work correctly.
