Title: Hi guys i need help finding or making a charger

Well i have an ipod 3g its pretty sick but it wont charge since this component that has 3 legs shorted i tried changing it but it would just no work or it would burn it but the ipod works fine and it even syncs its wierd so i just need help charging the battery using a cellphone since its battery had the same specs or a wall charger thanks

I hope you mean iphone 3g.... and please, PLEASE use sentences.  If it is still within warranty call apple. they are pretty good with customer service lol

Nope its one of those old ipod the ones that have 4 buttons below the screen thats why i wanna make a charger for the battery. Since they dont make them aby more and i wanna keep it lol

didnt it use firewire ? try online i'm sure u can find a charger unless u really want to make one....

I want to make the charger i just need to know if i could use a cell phone cince it uses the same kind of battery or maybe making one out of a wall charger.
