Title: Am I screwed?(iphone 3g unlock)

Ok guys, I bought an iPhone 3G and I was looking forward to receiving it, and unlocking it to  t-mobile...
UNFORTUNATELY, it has 2.2.1 and 5.9 bootloader with the 2.30 baseband...
I beleive this means it is NOT-unlockable, but there is where you guys come in(hopefully)
I really need this, because it is my only working fone and I have nothing to turn to, plus id be out $300...
so please guys, can you help me...or do I need to buy that Geevey thing?or turbosim

yes .. unfortunately you are kinda screwed .. dev team is still working on itt . haha . i have heard about something call "Gevey Sim" its some sim that i guess "unlocks" calls/texts/wifi but you cant get edge/or 3g .

yea, im going to order it tonight, although Im sad I cant use my iphone for calling/textin GRRRRRRRRR stupid apple
