Title: Any Ideas for my IronKey USB Drive

So I have a 4gig IRONKEY and I cannot for the life of me remember my password [I haven't used it in over a year]. I never did the online stuff for it. And I have like three tries left before it is locked forever. Any ideas?

uhm, I dont know, have you tried all of the passwords you currentlly use. And also did you see if there was a way to reformat it and start over?

Sadly the newer passwords I try will be of no use what so ever ._.; the password that is on it is from over a year ago. Heh sadly alas there is no way to reformat the iron key. It is the "worlds most secure flash drive" seriously check them out. Seems there is nothing I can do, my dad got it for me (in the military) and it is the government edition. ._.;

when you open an iron key it destroys itself. lol flash chip goes boom, albeit not very spectacularly. its also filled with gel if i remember correctly, meaning if the tiny charge doesnt go off its rips itself to pieces. and all the contents are encrypted. without the encryption chip, the chip that actually contains data is useless, as you cannot descramble the encrypted data.
