I want to make a momentary switch for the ps button on my remote for special reasons. my problem is i dont know where to solder to on the mobo. i have the newest version of the ps3 controller it dosent have these things there built in to the whole shell.

Im not lazy i would use my dads multimeter and find out myself but i have no clue how to use one i will learn some day.

Hit the PS button with one side, and the PS common line with the other side. TP11 is the common line.

ok thanks for the help but im a little confused so you want me to solder to the t11 point right? and then to the ps pinout and thats it?

I think so. I'm not 100% sure, but i'm pretty sure that TP11 is the ground for the PS button, and the PS point is the actual button point. So just put a momentary switch between the two, and when you press the momentary switch, it should register the PS button. You should check with someone else though, just to be 100% sure.
