Title: PSP 1000 UMD Drive

Hey,

My UMD drive on my fat psp 1000 doesn't read UMD's at all (game or video). When I close the drive it sounds as if it's caught on something.

What's the best solution? I do have a CFW on it and it's not under warranty so taking it to Sony isn't an option.

did you put it in a new case. ive heard from people you have to dremel off some plastic on the bottom of the case so the gears dont get stuck. if you did pm me and i will find a pic of where ive seen it cut so it works.

Nope still in it's original ceramic white case   all of a sudden it stopped working

I do have a blak psp with a faulty nub maybe I can replace it

if you need i have a extra umd drive and a analog nub. other than that it sounds weird. mabey the lazer is faulty or gave up. pm me if you want parts. also i will post pics if you want. i really want leds to finish my mod so mabey we can work out a trade.
