thats the real reason why I have my psp is because it's the only (it was) good portable video player on the market

Oh I've already got an idea for an LED mod, and I'm hellbent on doing it.

Well I think LEDs ARE almost over with this PSP, let's see. No jewel, no transparent triggers, the only spot I can think of is the speaker holes but that would look a bit lame imo.

well not if there are 3rd party clear cases for this...

yoiu can do led swaps, the buttons lighting up(they are clear with white under)
lots of stuff, and replace the start and seclect with a dual nub, that would be tight

well jewel isnt out you could put it centre on the bach and have it show the circuit board all illuminated

OOOH good idea... Damn you guys make me want to buy one really bad now, even though I won't play with it >.> But I can't justify to my parents why I would buy a $250 electronic just to rip apart.

lol Save some money, get a job during the summer, even if it's a paper route justin.
Or mod stuff and save all the money for that.
And the jewel idea was similar to the idea that I had.
Now the only thing I see that could be a cause for concern is if there's extra support in the case itself, and by cutting it away could ruin the integrity of the case.
Now I really need to get a multi-meter.

True but meh, I'm not particularly good enough at modding yet to do jobs, and paper routes suck around here. I'd probably make more buying stuff cheap and then modding and selling for more. B-day comin around soon so I'll probably pick up a bunch of modding stuff and then do loads of mods over the summer. If I pick one up, I'm definitely ripping it apart. If I fail... Put it back together and return it rofl.

I bought my psp mainly because it had everything music, movies, games, pictures, and internet one thing that I want to know is if the psp go will it allow youtube on it I would totally buy it sell my xbox for it.

every psp has psptube.
its a homebrew.
Maybe it will let you view them with regular internet but only if they added ram
ummmm... why not just use youtube mobile with opera mini on the psp?
