Title: Tell me what to solder to my dipswitch please!

Hi im currently waiting for dip switches  the kind that have 3 things on the bottom ( to solder to )  and 2 settings.

i have a psp 1000  and i want the lights to be connected to speakers  or somewhere easy =).

What do i connect to my Dipswitch.

Well im guessing your using ur dip switches to turn ur leds off and on right.

if you're doing direct connect to the speakers, connect a wire to on of the points on the speaker to one of the points to the switch. then connect the middle point on the switch to the led.
connect another wire to the other point on the speaker then the other end to the led.

speaker --> switch --> led
speaker -------------> led

you use the switch to cut off one of the connections to the led so it will be off.

what is the maximum amount of 0603 leds one psp will power. even if i used a small amount of wire.  for instance. can i put 50 lights in 1 trigger (acting like they would all fit).


Also Do i neeeeeeeeeed to use a resister? i dont want to =).  what will happen if i dont. aside from the lights being very bright

Sorry this is old post.
But I think the maximum that has been places is like 18 im not positive but to power all of those i would recommend adding the LM386 witch does need resistors.
