Well theres a vid from PSP Gen showing this 5 03GEN-A for HEN (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ayvDQg7qUY&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eqj%2Enet%2FAttention%2Dbrewers%2DCustom%2DFirmware%2D5%2D03GEN%2DA%2Dfor%2DHEN%2Dincoming%2Dcompatible%2Dfor%2Dall%2DPSP%2Ds%2Fpg%2F49%2Faid%2F131950&feature=player_embedded#lq-lq2-hq)
I think its fake but if its true i call it for the news page
-
I hope it's real :D
-
The video looks a little sketchy to me but who knows?
-
I've got a sketchy feeling about it.
It does show it on PSP-Indent, but doesn't actually show the PSP itself, or anything else.
Not to mention it don't show the PSP doing a full reboot after the HEN is loaded.
And yeah, it's yours if it's real. I won't touch it.
-
I think the vid uses vid out and we all know vid out wont allow firmware to be flashed while on vid out so thats why i think its fake.

I just read up, and if I'm correct, it's like ChickHEN, where it loads itself into the ram, so it don't touch the internal flash, making it possible.
So if that's the case, It's real, and you're good to go, and POST it on the news page.

Its real but its not getting posted on news page it works just like the HEN you shutdown the PSP you have to reload the CFW.
If you want to post it you can but i refuse because its not a true CFW.
Plus I hate PSP Gen in general.
-
Alrighty.
The big staple with this is the fact that you can run backups and POPs games on the 3000.

it is true yes but thare is a way to put custom firmware that stays and boots but you need to be on OFW 5.03
here is the thing you need

or you can try GEN-A
http://pspupdates.qj.net/GEN-A-has-landed-CFW-5-03GEN-A-for-HEN-now-available-/pg/49/aid/131965 (http://pspupdates.qj.net/GEN-A-has-landed-CFW-5-03GEN-A-for-HEN-now-available-/pg/49/aid/131965)
both work on TA-088v3 slims and PSP 3000
Put, Chickhen folder (depending in if you have a SLIM or PHAT ) to PSP/PHOTO (if you dont have a PHOTO folder make one). then PUT the CFWenabler in the PSP/GAME. then on your PSP make sure you Set it in Default via Restore in default settting in System. once done, in System TURN OFF the UMD AUTO START, and the UMD CACHE, Set your Theme both un to CLASSIC. also the BACKGROUND. then on your PSP, browse the CAMERA > PHOTO > CHicken and let the eggs load. ~hehheheh~ it will make a Garbage and restart, ( if not try it again ) once restarted. Go to Games > CFWloader and execute it. once there Start a FLash. then it will restart and now you have a CFW. now, (tarkan) Make FOlder in Root of MS. a ISO folder ang put your ISO/CSO there. once u have some games in your psp. press Select and turn to M33 Umd mode. press select again and play your game

thats fake, its not a video hy the psp gen team

This is real. My friend from work showed me his buddies PSP3000 he modded. It works by an image file.
The only problem is if you power down completely, you have to re-flash the PSP, but it literally only takes a minute LOL. And because when you power down completely, the original firmware is back to normal, so it is impossible to brick it using this technique ;) Just put it on sleep when you're not using it or plug it in to keep the custom firmware :)
