Have you ever been working on a project and just wanted to give up and just go to sleep for the fact of forgetting the problems?
Seriously we need someone to invent a time machine or Undo button for life..

Get the easy buttton.
But seriousley it does make me depressed when i look at some unfinished plans i have just because of the fact of time and money.

I can't explain in words how much hilarity I found in this topic.
If modding make you depressed, then you need to spend that money on a shrink instead. That's the saddest thing ever.

I dont think depressed is the corrrect word disapointed maybe but depresssed no. I think when you start to get agrivated, you just need to back away ffrom the psp and go kill some cod4 players then come back to it. once you get agrivated, you get tence, loose concentration. which leads to costly mistakes.

Have you ever been working on a project and just wanted to give up and just go to sleep for the fact of forgetting the problems? I've been working on a new mod recently (secret... for now) and it involves lots of zif's, x2 18 pin, x2 8 pin and x1 30 pin zif connectors which I have to solder wires to. I am feeling pretty low and hopeless at this point that all I want to do is go to sleep and forget my problems. Every time I turn and see my modding table it just makes me angry. I keep throwing more $$ down the drain when I screw up. If money wasn't an issue I do have the patience to sit there all day and keep working at it. But money is really bringing me down at this point. Idk if this is what the thread is asking or if I am just venting... I don't know. :boxed: :boxed:

DUDE I feel 100% of your pain... In 1 week I screwed over 2 gameboys for 1 mod... *facepalm* ... Not to mention being buying a $40 case for my psp that NEVER WORKED!!!

I agree with modded matt. Although I don't get depressed, I get aggrivated and frustrated when I can't get something done. Just relax andgo do something else. Besides, that project doesn't sound like something you should attempt quite yet...

yeah, I should say not depressed, I'll just take a week long break or whatever if I can't get something done.

I think everyone know's the feeling you talk about, but like matt said, it'd be irritation, not depression.
I remember the first time I tried to solder an 805 onto some wire. Not the right wire, no flux, soldering tip kept oxidizing, and almost 3 hours later I managed to somehow get it on, without killing the LED.
Thats irritation.
Now I laugh because I get one on in like 20-30 seconds.

i get frustrated when everytime i broke my lcd connector...
and next thing i know i sabotage the whole project...
that's really aggravates me...

Depressed?...........No........
Frustrated?...........Definitely......
I fly through boxes of cigarettes on a big project like when I was back in Russia, and I get really angry.
I'd recommend just going outside for a bit, chill out with what you like to chill out with (friends, the Marlboro Man,some chocolate mikado),clear our mind,go back in and finish the job.
When al else fails..............CHAWKLIT RAYNE!!
