Title: Should I sell UK Jewels?
Post by: PhenomenalDesigns on June 11, 2009, 08:54:03 AM: Should I? Loads of people have been asking why I dont sell them, since I can easily get them made, just havent made any in a while though :P

Theres a laser cutter and engraver in school, but yesterday I was talking to my teacher and he told me it was possible to cut plexiglass very precisely with it, and he told me he knows a way to draw it on the computer a lot quicker

So im considering it... for like £5 + P&P, for UK, or even US depending on price of P&P

Should i give it a go?

Thing is, I dont want to get into any problems with people not recieving their products, with shipping losing it, etc...

Things rarely going missing in the post, and £5 isn't too big of a deal if it does go missing...

And how do you guys feel with me sending the jewels out in letters instead of parcels, in just bits of paper, since its just a strong, flat peice of plastic, to save P&P costs (Jiffy bags cost quite a lot...)

Okay, its settled, i will make a little batch of 'limited edition' acidmod jewels, that I could try selling, just like one a4 sheet of acrylic, and I can probaly get the laser cutter to cut it too... so that saves me time, and it is a lot better finish.

Yeah jiffy bags cost like £1.50 each, then on top of that, since it counts as a parcel, its around another £1.50 to send it, but with a letter, letters are only like 5p each and then like 30p for a first class stamp (And I have loads already)
