Hi all - I have a controller that has a sync button that broke off and ripped the solder pads along with it right off the PCB. Can anyone help me find a good solution for new solder points? I thought I saw some super high res. pictures of the traces somewhere on here but I am having no luck searching today.
I have run jumpers for some LEDs before when I ruined their pads so hopefully I can find out some points to jump from and use a tact button or something similar.

hmm... can you show some pics im having a hard time understanding what your saying.

Sure, Here you go. As you can see in the upper left hand corner where the sync button normally is, it is gone.....and so are all the solder pads.

okay ill look into it a bit more i got to go to church ill get back to you afterwards
-
you could wire a button to it and have it taped to the outside or smthn
-
I would love to wire a new button on the board however I don't know where to place the wires since the solder pads are gone.
-
okay well... i don't have a matrix board so i can't look at mine to help you but you can try to trace it and solder the source and then put in a tact switch and your in buisness
