Title: cellphone leds

is there any way that i can know what my led's forward voltage is?

i use the leds from cellphones but i don't know the data sheet of the leds...

Use google to check the usual forward voltage depending on the colour.

Most standard LEDs will have the same forward voltage all around for the same colour.

i still can't find the forward voltage of the leds...damn...

btw i'm using the leds from nokia :tup:

It's usually always a FV of about 2 volts just as a general guideline.

and what about the colors?some leds fv depend on color right?

white
red
blue (got 30 pcs.)
yellow
green
purple
orange

this are on my list to order...

I found this:

color   voltage (Volts)
IR   1.5
red   2.0
orange   2.0
yellow   2.1
green   2.2
true green   3.3
blue   3.3
white   3.3
UV   3.3
blue (430 nm)   4.6

BUT 0603 are probably a bit lower.
