Title: Panic attack without worrying about anything?
Post by: H-Sauce on June 18, 2009, 09:21:12 AM
Ok, guys, I'm freaked out. I had a spontaneous panic attack in english today. I got sent home from school because of it. The thing is, is ther's nothing at all that could have caused it!

Any ideas?

Like a full sized panic attack? That's creepy... You should try talking to a psychiatrist or a doctor

my wife had them about going to the store(she hates crowds) but its never in the store just before we get there. like she is thinking about the worst then we get there and its fine. its getting near the end of school right, mabey you are worries about the outcome subconsciously and that can have adverse effects. it could be that built up wall of worries comes tumbling down, and your fine otherwise, then boom... idk though its not me so good luck. since you got sent home, go do something relaxing. take a walk, sit outside, something simple.

I have (different time zones) it was in the middle of the day, 3rd period (we have five). School doesn't end for another 4 or 5 weeks. No exams, nothing. It's strange.

I had a HUGE tourettes spasm (they're panic/stress related) over the course of an hour or two one day, where I couldn't even look at something because my eyes and head were twitching around. I had NO idea what it was about until a couple of days later when I talked to someone about my troubles, then it hit me. So really, get some help.

Same here dude,I'm a chronic hypochondriac,I constantly think I have cancer or meningitis and stuff like that, and i get extreme panic attacks from it,sometimes I'd even faint, and one time it gave me a peptic ulcer.Mental problems often manifest themselves physically.

My dad has decided to still not take me to the doctors and just face it and try to stop it from happening. "It's mind over matter" he says and he says that if I go to the doctors they would give me Beta Blockers and he doesn't want me on them.
