It depends on which tool you use for which OS you're on. Pwnage tool(Mac) will install Icy and redsn0w(Windows) will install Cydia.

Post by: ProperBritish on June 23, 2009, 11:38:42 AM: i jailbroke, but then brought it back to official. 3.0 JB has been VERY UNSTABLE for me. this afternoon after respringing none of my non-built-in apps would boot. they started, died instantly. uninstalled plugins and programs one-by-one. nothing. rebooted loads. nothing. rejailbroke. nothing. restored (TAKES A LONG TIME). nothing.

so i gave up :D

Post by: PspKicks316 on June 23, 2009, 02:38:05 PM: Mine works 100%. You have to remember that a lot of Cydia/Icy apps aren't patched/ported to work with 3.0 completely yet.

Pretty much all of my apps work. I don't think there's a single one that doesn't.
