There's a great,free utility out there called BASIC-256,it allows you to write out and test code in a simple environment where you don't have to compile it before running or anything like that.You guys should try it,there's versions for windows and linux (I use the linux one).It took me two weeks to learn BASIC inside-out with the help of this program,and once you've outgrown it,you can move on to SDK's and you'll feel like a 5 year old opening his presents on Christmas day :laughing:

What kinda of code does it write.
I assume it depends on what OS you download it for.

You just write basic into it and it runs the script,it's for learning the commands like "if","and" and "then" among other things.

"If", "and" and "then" I believe..but I barely paid attention the last part of that class anyway lolz
It was pretty fun to do but I just got bored and started to surf the web for an hour and a half during that class. I used to have the program on my lappy but I took it back off
