Title: Copy/re-flash
Post by: ukpride on July 10, 2009, 03:22:14 PM
quick question, is it possibly for me to buy a PIC with rapid-fire code on there and copy it in some way and put it onto some old PIC's that have old code on there?

not if you buy the chips, as most if not all have copy protection on their code. Thus when reading the chips it will just output all 0's. Now if you have your own code/the ASM/the HEX/source, you can flash it to as many chips as you want  :drunk:

Just support the devs of the rapidfires. Its not that much.... Its 13$ for a undetectable kit from Ack like you Know. Thats a amazing price...
