Title: d-pad automatically goes down

for some annoying reason, when ever i play a game, the d-pad automatically goes down.  i know its the d-pad because when i disconnect it the problem stop. i just got a new screen after 2 months of the old one being broken so im really anxious to play!

if anyone cud help me it would be much appreciated & thanx in advance

Make sure the dpad connection board properly set in the LCD cage.  I had a problem once where the d pad board was not in the slots of the LCD cage and when I pushed the buttons they weren't making contact.

the same problem occurs even without the lcd cage on so i guess that cant be it

i even went and bought a new dpad off of ebay and i still have the same problem

It only does it in game not on your main board menu.
