Title: psp not working what should i check?

okay well i had a broken charger my dog chewed it up and i had to duct tape it back together everytime i wanted to use it well one night i knocked some water onto my charger and my psp and just turned the psp over not thinking of it the charged just died i fried it when i plugged it in the psp was not connected luckily got a new charger then  plugged my psp up nothing happened no chargin nothin and so i got into modding about 5 months later and i got some tools now i know my way around a soldering iron so it is't charging it is't turning on i got a new charger its in good shape the psp is so what should i check to get it working again or just wait for like a psp go and use the spare parts from my psp

i would check the charge fuse and if its not that then i would see about gettin a new powerboard.
