i dont think Sony will take such a big gamble///

I believe that the proper term is "glitter coat".  It seems to work for the fishing industry.

the more i look at it, the more it does look like it was intentionally made white with sparkles. but im sure cases and faceplates will be out soon enough

Yes it is made like that it has a PERL finish which is designed to look like that.

is sony high?!? or has the SEXY silver PSP been sparkly for the last 2 years?

I think mixing the current matte white with that "ice" coating or whatever will make it super sexy. I think that the light is catching just a few of the "sparkles" wrong to make them bigger than they are. on my ice silver slim, it is very fine, and really slick looking.

Almost every time I hear a new thing about the Go I've wanted to kill myself more and more. The pearlescent finish just makes it look more like a child's toy, not a high end gaming console. Sparkly isn't bad. Ice Silver is insanely sexy. Sparkly isn't the problem. Pearl is the problem. I'd rather matte white. Or even sh*t brown, for that matter.
