anyway, I got this el cheapo case and started mounting the mobo.

Next step:
   -sand down case to prevent some warping
   -extent fan hole
   -desolder and wire the power socket and the harddrive socket.
   -Extend second cable on the diskdrive (the non sata one)

Thats f'ing awesome..just one question..how does sanding the case down prevent warping ?

there are little bumps on the other side which are pressing against the screws I used for the x-clamp fix, and various other components which stick out.

lol I am doing the exact opposite of this. I am throwing a mini-ITX board and a mini power supply into a 360 case

yea I will probably do some more work on this in 2 weekends time. I would like to see it finished too.
