Title: How do you remove the backplate?

I would like to know how to remove my PSP backplate but i'm not sure how to do it?

I found that but i couldn't get the LCD out of its cage

start in the corner of the lcd housing and work it up be gentle, pry outwards on the housing, the backplate is the last thing to come off. you must work from the top down, meaning to get the back off you must get the lcd off, once you pop it up, tilt it up on its botton edge to see the ribon cables below, another set of hands here is handy

its best to use a razor blade but some people use a butter knife but its kinda thick.

i use a cutter...

and i pry my lcd starting at the bottom side...
