which one is the best one? im trying to go for a frys one so i can pick it up now and install my windows 7 ultimate xD

Didnt go through the above BUT western digital makes the best hard drives imho....

Yeah, looking at the drives in the links I prefer the Western Digital. Ive used quite a  few WD drives and have never had a problem with them.

Just my 2 cents

im lookin at the western digitals at my frys and i dont see any for 1tb, under 100 and at least 16mb buffer

the WD and the samsung are the best of the 3 ;)

Are u looking for an internal or external drive ? I just bought a 1TB WD External HDD for under a $100. Its really really good. Great transfer speeds n all :) Looks good too :D  Western Digital makes the best hard drives . They've never crashed on me....

The black edition is fast so you should get that one.

i did :D but i just returned it today :\ my sisters keep :censored:ing at me to return the money so i can use it on school clothes -.- so i did ima just buy a 500gb caviar blue edition :D for like half the price

You know you can just take apart those external hard drives and put the hard drive from there inside the computer.  I did that with a broken western digital 500gb hard drive that I got at the flea market for $2.   The enclosure didn't work but the hard drive did :D

i havent been to the flea market in a long time and everytime i go i never see any computer stuff like hard drive etc..

well i wish i had kept that 1tb till tmmrw. dled the wrong program now theres a virus :\ plays random ass music when firefox is up >:O
