Title: Complete controller transfer. *help needed*
Post by: Khaos on August 02, 2009, 10:39:28 AM
I wish to mod a 360 controller into a FPS master controller for the orig. xbox.

So its this:
(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.bountii.com%2Fthumbnails%2F08%2Fb2%2F08b20a4ebfa2222b6ceaac21a8f6c623&hash=6a9dba5d0118603799413323d27946619189a9ba)

Into this:

I need to know if
1. its possible
2. Step by step on how to do it

I have never modded before so I will need help, a lot of help. I plan to have the RB and LB somewhere with the X Y A B bottons.

Help me please.

...You've never modded before? Then this will be completely impossible for you.

It will involve a TON of cutting up the circuit board and repositioning components.

Take a look at the controller, and see how many little tiny traces there are.
This project itself is almost impossible..I'm not sure if it could even be done if attempted. It depends on if the circuit board is multilayered or not.

I will have to get the FPS controller first, I had one but I don't know what happened to it, When I get a new one/find the old one I can take detailed pics of the inside.

What I want to do is remove the circuit board and other non-vital components from the FPS and replace them with a Xbox 360 corded controller.

Wow good luck. Looks like that's going to cost a lot of time and money.
