okay i got a 360 from ebay and it has the rrod. when i pluged it in no video showed up so i opended it and did the xclamp repair thing. then i pluged it back in to over heat it,it showed 3 rings then the fans shut off and the cpu and gpu weren't getting hot,
so i really need help. it shows no video and the ccpu and gpu arent getting hot .
also the ass to evey thing out of the dvd drive ecept the kye so i dont know how to get the error code :beg:

it doesn't have a dvd drive but it has the key and i cant even ovheat it because i doesn't get hot

If there's no DVD drive, then that's probably why you're RRoD'ing...
How the hell do you have the key with no drive? That's not possible. If you don't have the original drive, you can't get/have the key.

okay! i got a xbox with a drive i noticed the drive hasten been pluged in butit had to wire so i continued to fix the xclamps then i noticed the drive had been opened so i opened it then the only thing in it was the key no laser only the key

I have no idea what you just said.
The key is a "file" of sorts. It's not a physical object...

2) I don't know what you said in that earlier post because it wasn't even English. Rephrase it.
You said the DVD drive was not plugged in, correct? Plug the dvd drive in and try to start the 360 again. If it still RRoD's then, since there's no picture, I'm guessing it's a GPU problem. You could EASILY read the topic buickgnx referred to and figure it out. It's obviously not 0002, because a network interface problem wouldn't cause you to not have a picture. IF you took the code down correctly, then that would be 0020 like you also said. In that case, plug the dvd drive back in and boot the 360. Let it overheat to fix the gpu or whatever (Never dont an xclamp, I don't know). An easier way would be to, for starters, make sure there's no cold solder joints and reflow the GPU. That's my best suggestion.

if you are not smart enough to properly phrase your question, you are probably not smart enough to fix the xbox. these guys are trying to help you, and to do so they need more clear information, if you are unable to provide such stfu make another coment like that and you will never be allowed back on this site.
