Distributing the Custom Firmware files may be considered illegal based on your interpretation of your country's copyright laws.

All firmware related items can be downloaded with xBins though. You can download the program here http://www.360mods.net/index.php?name=Downloads&get=29&mirror=202 (http://www.360mods.net/index.php?name=Downloads&get=29&mirror=202).

To flash your box, you need a sata computer, sata cable, and power supply for the drive (the xbox)

Simply hook it up with sata to your computer and run JungleFlasher (http://jungleflasher.net/ (http://jungleflasher.net/)) This program will provide you with all the flashing tools you need in a windows GUI, just make sure you install the "PortIO" Drivers that come with it before you attempt anything.

Just make sure to backup your original key and firmware many times to make sure you dont loose them.

To make the custom firmware work on your drive it needs the key, kinda like a serial number for windows, except these are locked to their devices.

When you open your drive in jungleflasher, It will give you your key, You can save the original firmware and copy/paste the key into a notepad file.

If you loose this key and something goes wrong with the flash, sadly your :censored:ed.

You may have positioned the heatsinks slightly off of perfect, this will cause freezing, but more commonly 2 red lights (overheat)

Simply go thru your RROD steps again, This time when you screw the sinks in, Tighten them "just enough", turn the box on and let it overheat, then screw them the rest of the way in.

There are slightly different ways to do each drive (Lite-On you will need a spear)
In Jungle Flasher there are different settings for each drive, the program is pretty self-explanatory.

There is a sticky about backups.

Happens often, go to "Add Hardware" and click "Have Disk" and just go to the Manual Install folder.

A tool for measuring voltage, amps, mA, etc

Basically what I was saying was, there is no schematics or anything for the wheel, So I will have to do it myself for ya.

Dont even mess around with the Lite-on unless you have the proper tools to do so.

Perhaps you should just ship the boxes to me xD?
